About the Workshop:
For the first time, experience a photography workshop taught in the Socratic method. Learn in the heart of the refiner’s fire and you will become unbreakable, ready for any circumstance you encounter, because you will know how to make the right decisions.
During this workshop you will learn Jared’s compositional strategies, exposure techniques, client interaction methods and his overall shooting philosophy. But be forewarned, this is not your typical shooting workshop with a hoard of students crowding for position, all shooting the same model from the same angle.
At this workshop, you will be required to interact with and direct the model, predict your exposures, suggest compositions, answer questions and defend your ideas. You will not be allowed to hide anonymously in the throng of photographers rapid firing yourself a portfolio; but you will walk away with an incredible education and some great images that are completely yours that no one else at the workshop has.
About Jared:
Jared is a professional photographer and photographic educator. He studied photography at Arizona State University where he earned his undergraduate and masters degrees in Photography. He teaches college photography courses as well as workshops for professional photographers and provides online education for photographers and photo enthusiast throughout the world.
